Dr. Raven the Science Maven. Molecular biologist, science communicator, entrepreneur.

Both of my mentees got into their dream PhD programs. Both in biology, one at Stanford and the other at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Being a mentor is so rewarding. People look up to you and trust you to take all of your experience and wisdom and pour into them. Then you watch them soar!

Fresh out the gym and from reading 2384 conspiracy theories. "wE DiDnT gO tO tHe MoOn" "ThEy DoNt WaNt Us tO kNow" Let's settle it! Come learn and do the science with us! Join us. And scientists, if you're not taking up space on social media, try Fervae! Train, post, and cite all from one place.

I've been knees deep in learning software engineering and have gotten to the part where I learn that things in engineering are referred to as "masters" and "slaves"... just when I found something that felt like it could take my mind off all the bullshit, here comes some bullshit 🫠

I want all my fellow OCD suffers to know that after scrubbing my tub absolutely clean and spotless after it was already spotless, I ran a bath and when I got out the bath and drained it there was a single piece of my hair in the tub. And I wanted to scream. The agony 🥲
