Israel dropped one of the largest and most powerful bombs since Hiroshima and Nagasaki on a village in Southern Lebanon; yet not a single American News Network mentions it. Had any other country dropped such a massive ordnance, the world would e been abuzz 24/7 with images and condemnations.

Israeli far-right minister Ben-Gvir degrading activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla is completely unacceptable. The UK govt must act to ensure the safety of the activists & delivery of vital aid to Gaza, and sanction all those responsible for the genocide.

#auspol would not condemn Israel genocode, because that would be actually condemning what they themselves did and would do if they could again. Their "Sorry" to indigenous australians was really just lip service to appease people, as they know we angry and wanted acknowledgment. They never meant it

As soon as Trump said Putin was "very impressed" by our "excursion" into Iran (& why wouldn't he be, since Trump was mimicking Putin's assault on Ukraine?) someone should've asked why then did Putin feed American military logistics to Iranian forces? & who CARES if a dictator's "impressed"?

Reliance on "A.i." makes people sloppier, shittier writers, which encourages sloppier, shittier reading, all of which makes people sloppier, shittier thinkers. None of these "A.i." words matter, so no one gives a shit. This is INCREDIBLY bad for people individually and for society as a whole.

@BBCNews rightly notes re Russian attacks on Ukrainian power stations that “attacking civil infrastructure is against the laws of war”. Just odd that they rarely if ever said the same about massive Israeli attacks on civil infrastructure including hospitals in Gaza.

As an attorney, I know Trump has no ability to cancel our elections. But as someone who is a Trump biographer and presidential historian, I simultaneously am well aware that he has the will, the capacity, the resources, and the troops to make free and fair elections impossible.

In the mid 2000s, anyone could start a blog, and everyone did, and then some of them got big from it! But now blogs have largely faded, lots are corporate, free platforms are limited or gone. Then the same happened with audio podcasts. Then the same happened with video and YouTubers.

There’s an Arabic version of “every cloud has a silver lining” that translates to “no cows, no feeding them at dawn.” A Scots version is “today’s rain is tomorrow’s whisky.” And a Romanian phrase for looking on the bright side is un șut în fund, un pas înainte, or “a kick in the ass, a step forward”
