A few days ago, Shandon Simpson, a nazi who famously goes by "Zoran Zoltanous" online, was arrested in Chicago, Illinois. According to his own words, he was arrested for "beating the shit" out of a black woman using a baseball bat.

Hi there and welcome to #FridayFucksorSucks, a weekly game with simple rules. This week the Pedersen Device. Built during WW1 they converted 1903 Bolt action rifles into Direct Blowbpack semiautomatic pistol caliber carbines. Chambered in .30-18 Auto, they had 25 round magazines. 100,000 were made.

The original device inserted into a 1903, from the side. The magazine extended out to the right and up.The magazines were spring fed but gravity assisted. Technically the magazine would feed the gun from the bottom but the design of the implementation made putting the magazine below the gun basically impossible without drastically reconstructing the rifle.The device, when shouldered, was supposed to give a capable semiautomatic platform to the shooter, especially as they would not likely be carried long distances with the magazine extending out from the top of the gun.The device itself. You can see how the barrel lines up with the chamber and barrel of the gun rather than being a whole gun on it's own. The Pedersen devices were developed and tested at the very end of WW1 and as a result most of them were destroyed.
