According to PM Mikhelson, Trump is trying to do everything possible, including through these agreements with Russia, to ensure that Republicans do not lose the midterm elections for the Senate and Congress in November. "Making deals with dictators is the road to hell."

And, very likely, the promised fuel will never arrive. Such an agreement runs directly counter to the Western world's longstanding efforts to restrict the flow of energy revenues to Putin. Until now, the United States has persuaded its allies to abandon Russian fuel, and we have done the same. The longstanding policy of depriving Russia of revenue is the right one and must continue. Estonia and the European Council should discuss next week whether we can quickly increase our support for Ukraine so that Ukrainian forces can blow Russian oil refineries to pieces.

President Trump mused that he could rebrand either the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean, following his efforts to change the names of the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario. “We call it ‘Trump Ocean’ or, or, ‘Ocean of the Americas,’ something like that,” Trump said.

If in the USA and looking for options for organization, the American Coalition for Ukraine may be a good place to start. Ukrainian Action Summit meets twice a year, you don't need any political experience. It does cost money though. They also have free, year-round options. (...)

Putin’s illegal, unprovoked, full-scale invasion of Ukraine has killed countless civilians and devastated an entire nation. Buying Russian diesel while Russia continues its war sends exactly the wrong message. The United States should be isolating the Kremlin, not helping finance its aggression.
