5/5 Our paper reveals how young lateral roots establish their initial growth direction. Besides, it also highlights something equally important: Science is cumulative, collaborative, and built through mentorship — from group leaders to PhD candidates to undergraduate students.

A new study by Qiao et al. reveals that a formin orchestrates both rhizobial infection in legumes and mycorrhization in diverse plants.
