You were right the way you used to think. I am one of the most progressive members in Tennessee’s history, and I’ve been one of the most progressive members of Congress.And represented a majority minority district for 20 years and not to lose a precinct in a reelect >18 years is pretty amazing.
I boycotted both of Netanyahu’s speeches to Congress. I’m no fan of his.He is hurting Israel. I was the first Member to join JStreet and endorse them. I’ve never received any money from Aipac. I’ve always been a very pro two state solution Congressman and I’ve encourage humanitarian aid to Gaza
I was original sponsor of the Green new deal. And was leading Congress Person in the fight against the Keystone pipeline. So yes, I’ve been there on environmental issues and others I doubt I’ll ever run again. I’m 77 and post polio has taken a toll on physical abilities. I’ll miss Congress.
