I missed having a cobbled-together desktop PC that I don't generally care about. I haven't touched it in months, and don't remember which of the (many) drives I've stuck inside is the boot drive. I'm just gonna fire it up and start unplugging them until something happens.

My childhood Furby has fresh batteries, aaaand... nothing. No dice. Looks like I've found a new project. The idea of running errands around town with a Furby calling out from my bag is too amusing to pass up.

Legally changed my entire name a handful of years back. Hard to explain. Point being, I need to retroactively map my logic on that choice, and figure out how Teen Johnny would've handled certain developments.

We should really have a social media platform that just exists to provide a space to scream oneself hoarse in a way that provides some illusion that anyone else hears it, except in a way that doesn't negatively impact whatever precarious life situation one is currently in.

When I was like six, my folks had an old Volkswagen Fastback. Battery was located under the rear right seat. One time, a wasp got into the car, and I wasn't able to get out of my seatbelt, so I wriggled loose. Ended up pressing the seat springs against the battery terminals and shorted them out.

Remembering the fact that a shitty junk store purchase of an alarm clock (that was cheap because it was secretly broken) is why a family member wasn't in downtown Manhattan for an appointment 25 years ago. Didn't know that at the time, watching the news that morning.
