I'm really curious if there's actually an anime/manga that has the premise "person exists in a world where everyone can use magic but they cant use magic" that actually sticks to it. I've been burned 3 times with Black Clover, Mashel and Wand & Wistoria.

Amateur artist. Not sure how often I'll post. Still trying to improve.
A fun part about getting older is experiencing an internal pain you've never felt before in your life, and worrying that it might be cancer. The Internet really does just say any symptom for any ailment could be from cancer.
Man, there is such a difference between reading manga physically and digitally. The art of the page turn is really lost.
It's so wild to me to think that such a big critique of Bernie Sanders in 2020 was that he was too old. Fast forward 6 years and both of the old men he ran against have completely mentally deteriorated while he's still going strong.
When I was younger, I used to really go back and forth on if Summer or Winter sucked more. Now it's not even close. Summer is the worst season. Winter sucks too but there are at least SOME good things about it. Summer has 0 redeeming qualities
Man, today is just...not a good day for drawing. The brain is not braining, the muscles are not muscling. The motivation to do studies or watch the classes I paid for is just not there. Tomorrow. Tomorrow will be a day for drawing.
“I see now that the circumstances of one’s birth control are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of period cramps that determines who you are.”
Finally, my dream of having a Mewtwo with period cramps has come true, thank you Lego
Sometimes part or being an adult is realizing that a game is too difficult or annoying or boring or is wasting your time and just giving up. 99% completion is good enough, I do not care about this stupid fish anymore.
Visited my grandparents this weekend and the conversation at some point led to my grandma very earnestly, seriously and bitterly expressing that The Simpsons started the decline of America. I just...do not understand how boomers minds work...
I do not understand why @bsky.app made saving images on mobile less convenient. It was good the way it was, why hide the save and share buttons behind a menu?
I run a pathfinder campaign once a month and am currently on week 3 with no idea what to do next...I have the broad strokes but no specifics...
Replaying Twilight Princess has me remembering everyone online saying that TP and Link were edgy and like...no? Is it really just the color pallet that makes people think this? This boy is constantly smiling, constantly feeling and giving hope. He's genuinely one of the less edgy 3D links
I am so happy Dusklight released. I kind of forgot how amazing Twilight Princess is as a game. It's so good, it really is a contender for one of the best Zelda games.
After 9 straight hours of cleaning and reorganizing my entire room, closet and under the bed, following the previous day of 8 straight hours of the same thing, the gutteral noise I made when crawling into bed was the most inhuman sound I've ever heard. My feet hurt so much.
Thinking about drawing breasts has made me truly understand the quote, "If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe"
Discovering that I can just throw rice, chicken thighs, some veggies, broth, water and soy sauce in a rice cooker and that just makes like 4-5 days worth of food has been a game changer. Cooking is finally not unbearable
Ronald Regan was wrong about basically everything, but one thing he was exceptionally wrong about was the scariest words in the English language. The real scariest words are only 2: Windows Update
Sometimes I just cooked and magically drew way above my skill level. Which felt great and I like looking back at those pieces...but I also look back and question how tf i did it. Why did those work and why can't I replicate that success now? ;_;
I follow a lot of people on here for their art. Of course I have no issue if they make posts other than art, talking about whatever, that's fine Sometimes someone will start flooding my page with dozens of single sentences about something with no context. At that point I'm out, the art isn't worth
I miss when I was bad at art and thought I was good. Now I'm mediocre at art and know I'm mediocre.
The more I tey to watch Yugioh 5Ds, the more I think, okay this is getting pretty interesting...but I kind of wish it was just a motorcycle show. Every time they try to integrate the card game my suspension of disbelief is broken
I finally sat down and finsihed Jojo Stone Ocean. I'd put off finishing it for a while because the middle of it got pretty bad and frustrating to watch. I sat down, powered through and by the end it started getting pretty good again. Then it had one of the worst endings to anything I've ever seen.
When I originally started drawing, I wanted to draw hot women with big tits, and I greatly feared drawing hands. Now, I can draw hands pretty well... still cant draw boobs correctly, though....I thought that would be the easy part...
God anxiety sucks. It just takes forever to go away even when everything is fine
I can't with jujutsu kaisen anymore. The only reason I'm still watching it is because my girlfriend wants to. This shit is so badly written, so badly directed, it baffles my mind that it's so popular.
Sometimes the desire to talk about something you disagree with someone on isn't worth the risk of being blocked. Bluesky's character limit does not allow the ability to have a nuanced discussions.
