apropos of I just told one of their staff this on a PR they opened on my repo: I will not be engaging in any manner with 37signals or any of its properties while DHH remains involved with the company. it is the very least I can do to make sure there are any consequences for his behaviour

Leaders of flag-raising group Raise the Colours Oxfordshire placed trackers on highway workers’ cars to find out their home addresses, the High Court has heard. RTC then attempted to intimidate the highway staff into no longer removing flags by repeating their addresses to them.

There is a danger that by arguing the amount, we end up conceding the framing. Britain's welfare is ungenerous, the spend in total is mid-to-low table, and below past peaks. Benefits need reforming because they're unfit for purpose and trap, instead of enabling people. Not to make fantasy savings.

Again, so reflective of why UK media is - for the most part! - an actively hostile space, particularly for marginalised people. It’s a space where you can’t ever speak out against those who are trying to make your life worse - not while they’re living and not while they’re dead, either.

Whenever I hear people saying that figures who were vile in public, and actively made life worse for other people through their actions or words, were kind in private, I think that they should have applied themselves to greater consistency across all areas of their lives.
