Do you know what China's been doing while we've been dropping bombs and allocating more money for new weapons? Beating us on alternative energy, manufacturing, high speed rail, technology, microchips, and infrastructure.
Measles up. Explosive diarrhea worsening. Salmonella in millions of eggs Cancer research cut. Disease monitoring stopped. Vaccine efforts devastated. Pseudoscience and snake oil medicine proliferating. But Fauci.
I keep sayin' that the economics of solar would/might save us. Better to hear it from someone with street cred. Please send this TED talk to everyone you know. Tell any and all politicians that they need to get on board. Don't fire up coal, gas, or nuclear—solar/wind is the only way. #billmckibben

Whatever could be said about that claim when he made it in 1962, it soon became undeniable that government vaccine research, distribution, and mandates are objectively among the greatest achievements of civilization. Claiming otherwise is embarrassing, it's like saying you don't wash your hands.

Fat chance of that. How long have Persians been around, since the 9th century BCE? They'll handle this their way & are prepared to spend centuries doing it. Meanwhile folks in the US have a midterm election & quarterly earnings to consider. The current guy owns this, a true debacle—one for the ages.
