Today I had a rare day off of writing and just read a book instead. It sounds really dumb but sometimes I forget that's even an option. And just how great it is?

Happy Yorkshire day all! Consider celebrating Yorkshire by nice cups of tea, cold ale or Yorkshire puddings dripping in gravy. I am doing all of the above on repeat 🙌

Today I saw a horse obsessed with his own bio. Even good old Winston isn't immune to vanity!

My favourite windmill cafe has its sails up. Something wonderful about having a coffee underneath it.

I am booked to do a workshop about writing isolation in space and I am absolutely hyped about it 🙌

One major difference about being a parent is that I spend dramatically more time staring at random animals.

I have sent over 500 submissions in the last 5 years and I still managed to send the wrong story on a submission email. Always double check!
