I have another article out with the bfs! I've done a lot of research into something I do a lot in my fiction and it's oddly cathartic to sit down and work out one of my favourite tools for my fiction.

This is the world in which British Science Fiction Award-winning @rickandwrite.bsky.social will take us for Time & Place. He says: “This workshop will explore the advantages and tools on offer or writing a setting isolated in space.” All on Zoom. All welcome. All details: writingtheoccult.carrd.co

One of my favourite pubs in York is mentioned in Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell on account of it being 400 years old. As such they have a framed copy in the pub and it always makes me smile.
