I'm very please to announce a public release of my drag-and-drop bookmarking, game-making, and wandering tool Scrubjay! Scrubjay is a weird website builder that lets you cobble together web elements, images, links, text fragments, etc into a series of nested rooms...

"SCRUBJAY" sits over a bunch of images of frogs, birds, doors. it's a very 90s look

What's your "origin" video game? Most gamers have a lot of favorite games, sure, but there's always one that basically 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 you. I'm talking about the game that flipped that little switch in your brain and made into a life-long gamer. So, which game is 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨?

Hey guys! Due to the trend of "what's your undertale soul color" reels I've seen recently, I decided to make something hopefully more accurate and fun than the other tests out there. I wanted it to be very Undertale themed and to have a bunch of Easter eggs. Try it at undertale.jadenthejaded.uk!

Stock image of the results from the test mentioned in the post. All values are at 50%.

One of the most popular video games in the world has a subplot where Billy the Puppet from Saw as a spam email is scared of the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland but Messed Up and he had to run away from his TV-head boyfriend to escape the cat. Make what you want!!!!

Donkey Kong 64 makes extremely efficient usage of in-engine coloration to cut down on the number of textures. Entire vibrant and colorful areas are created at runtime from a single texture just by artfully tinting it.

The colorful cliffs in Jungle Japes are just a vertex coloration map being applied to a single 128x128 pixel texture.

Don't have the thoughts fully formed but want to get it out before tomorrow so I can say called it: in the same way that Undertale explores games and how people play them, I think Deltarune is about exploring game and how people "make them"

“what if websites were felt” yes but what if websites were /felt/ > i thought about when this code was young, vernal in your hands — when you touched its first HTML file and began to sculpt. i opened the source code and it felt like standing in your room after you had gone out.

Stillness is a blog. Have a look: “i visited your website today. ❡ ❡ snow fell for hours, quieting the din of the city many stories below. tonight, my apartment was a haven, illuminated only by ...”

Just realized that one of my favorite easter eggs I made while at Stripe is still on the /jobs page… The monitor in the photo mimics everything you do on the page itself. 🥚💅 (only visible on Firefox because it uses an experimental feature)
