Needs some beeswax to do that. Where'd I leave that beeswax...? I can't. I need to get the beeswax. Everyone's waiting on that beeswax. Beeswax... come on, Oddy, think! Know I saw some beeswax somewhere... Surely I can find some beeswax. Need to find the beeswax first.
Sirens, huh...? If only there were a way I could listen to their song *without* walking into the sea... Hmmm, maybe I could listen to their song *without* walking into the sea... Maybe this rope could help... but how...? I want to listen to their song, but if I do, I'll walk into the sea...
rural facebook is fantastic right now btw. old timers organizing to stall data center construction in the county. hundreds of comments calling flock camera vandals heros. everyone hates AI and loves the post office
Making a period tracker yourself is a really amazing way to take over your digital agency!! I want to teach a workshop where we each make a simple securely hosted (or locally hosted) website (that doesn't rely on large hosting platforms) where you can easily go to and enter your data
Plus: Russian cyberspies turn to infrastructure hacking, DHS repeatedly fails to realize it’d been hacked, a breach exposes an AI music generator’s scraping ways, and more. www.wired.com/story/securi...

Would you like to contribute an OBJECT to live in a WAREHOUSE GAME? I'm working on a parser fiction game where you play as a worker in the warehouse of the gods- sorting, storing, rearranging objects, meandering. I need so many objects! Maybe even: one of yours? docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...

before the green moon is both hugely inspirational to me and criminally underplayed. like what if a tarkovsky film was entirely cast with animal crossing villagers
Before the Green Moon ($3.59) - the devs of Wide Ocean, Big Jacket bring you something else - a moody sci-fi farming/life sim. reap, sow, and connect with your community that lives at the bottom of a space elevator... before you make your trip up it. store.steampowered.com/app/2323580/...
God bless the weird mod trend that I keep seeing called "immersive masochism." Yes, of course it's a good idea to simulate the process of troweling on mortar and placing one brick at a time instead of a cubical "brick block"
As Kels from @dfwsupportcommitt.bsky.social told me: "they’re being given extraordinary sentences for things that are supposed to be protected actions. Fireworks on the Fourth of July being called explosives and terrorism? Political literature is something worth taking 30 years of someone’s life?”
The Prairieland Sentences Are a National Emergency
A federal court has punished Texas ICE demonstrators with decades in prison. This is dark news, not just for them but for anyone who may want to register political dissent.

Oh wow, yeah. I've only just scratched the surface of it by End Of Starchild feels like it might be one of the coolest things ever made with the Doom engine? Fully freeware and standalone. msx.horse/eos/ All these screenshots are from the same game It's seemingly a followup to 2021's Time Tripper

legitimately a formative computing experience was figuring out how to escape from the windows 7 settings menu to an admin account in the 6th grade computer lab. it was a reproducible series of steps that my friends and i wrote down on notebook paper and shared with our classmates like a spell
all online age verification does is teach kids to be a little bit more computer literate to circumvent it so who's to say if it's good or bad
