fascinating thing about SpiralSpy is if you delve in deep enough you start getting an insight into how the animation engine works. authoring tools would go a wild length towards a prospective revival but that means a certain dev team getting real okay with a lot of community tools real fast

Companies love selling subscriptions while having the audacity to see anybody using one as a lost sale. They think you’re just getting stuff for free. It’s why services get worse over time. Executives want you to subscribe & still buy the things you subscribed for. They just want stuff for free.

The corporate dream is a product made by nobody for no money, sold to nobody for eternally increasing amounts of money. AI represents a crudely made facsimile of this, with generated material getting generated views from generated accounts. For delusional corpos, the Dead Internet is a goldmine.

Just like they resent having to pay people to make their products, executive shit-spigots resent having to sell those products to us. If you look at the trajectory of videogame monetization, so much of it has been about establishing a direct line to our wallets. Money for nothing.

The consumer has been reduced to a speed bump, a barrier between a corporation and the individual's bank account.

lucky clover looks so fucking good ugh. i really do hope it goes public too i gotta try that thing out. reminds me a lil bit of vanquish but it looks so much more fluid than vanquish ever was and that's sayin somethin as far as i'm concerned

Productive! Set up a system for carrying objects. (and throwing them) Weapon stealing is back on the menu. Certainly more streamlined. I also added impact frames fx. Because I am a monster. Oh. Blood. Lots of cartoon cyborg blood. (I am aware that I misspelled 'Equipped') #CherubDev #UE5

aight ok i wanna be real; i have a painting in the works and a quick sketch i wanna do for a recent follower just as a gesture of thanks but the next several days are gonna be heatwave days and i Do Not work well in the heat so uh!! gimme a couple days i swear i'm up to Something

poking around in spiral knight's crucible editor and i am genuinely, just... awestruck by the skyboxes. they caught me so off guard. i haven't felt like this about a vg skybox since ps1 spyro - evocative doesn't even begin to cover it. they're beautiful.

hey if i put a lot of likes but didn't follow: nothing personal at all and i probably look at your stuff plenty but i keep my feed quiet so i don't get burned out ❤️

yeah alright so double-dipping is kinda sneaky of me but hey, Rare Version! lil bit of blender VFX to get it all sparkly "Wanna see a magic trick?" type beat :)

"Jester of Stars" it's SCALLION! the... treat fool? snack joker? space clown? star jester...? jestar? something. it's scallion the something, let's go with that. don't worry about the hat, they'll turn 'em back into a person later :) @factorialkobold.bsky.social

A jester-like creature, named Scallion, poses in stark lighting and holds a top-hat, wielding its jeweled tail like a sceptre, staring at the viewer with a playful and naughty expression. The top hat seems to have a face on it that bears an expression of bewildered delight. The image is framed like a playing card.
