Just completed an MRI ordered by neurology. Proud to report they had to call in 4 different people to get my IV placed. 💅😌

Unlike rain or ice, snow is an acoustic dampener - it contains air pockets that absorb and dissipate sound, and a rough surface that scatters it. So there is a quiet feeling when it snows. Even the snow still falling is dampening sounds. Not that the storm is silent.

My favorite word the past couple years has been diegetic.
Had a fight with my local friend Mike. Makes me crazy. I am a crazy person, and when I get into an argument with a friend and they hang up and ignore me, my brain goes nuts and I obsessively think about it and can't sleep etc. I wish I would chill the fuck out.
About to watch Total Recall with a first timer (JrHackenbush), their first non-terminator Arnie flick. A young mind is about to be blown.

Helicopters are the most dangerous form of household clutter. I think we really need to intervene on this whole living-room helicopter thing. It's just not a safe place for a helicopter. In fact I'm not aware of any houses that have survived a helicopter in their living room.

played some games with my buddy Mike, earlier watched more From with cris (no spoilers or I will skin you alive). Doing okay. Had some chili, some hummus, some yogurt drinks and a Puff. Rollie is sleeping under the table all snuggled up.
rollie is mad at me about something and I have no idea what. his food and water are fine. but he seems pretty annoyed.
