My hot take about shooting movies on film: there is no technically superior aspect of shooting on film stock over digital. The only creative reason for using film is “I want to shoot on film”.

So they’re arresting members of the press now for covering the very events they instigated. And of course to prevent more coverage. Saw a sign a while back that borrowed from the Martin Niemöller poem: “First they came for the press. We don’t know what happened after that.”

One of my early works with longtime collaborator @spaceleech.bsky.social. The arcade, a piece of his childhood, now a graveyard of machines. It was probably the funnest set to shoot on because we were able to play the games later.
