We are calling for an immediate stop to all purchases from Upper Deck. Their total lack of communication is distressing—so we call upon everyone to help us escalate. No purchases from Upper Deck. No media coverage or posts of their games. Upper Deck will only respond when it hurts their wallets.
Marceline is Racing Dinos@marcelineleiman.bsky.social · 10mo agoYIKES. Upper Deck (Marvel Legendary) just announced a CCG using the Harry Potter license. Fans of UD are rallying against this decision. Like the CGE situation last year, I’m asking for your help. Join us. Share your disgust and frustration, and help us push UD to retract their awful decision. 🎲✂️
I am very excited for @marcelineleiman.bsky.social High Tide to join the indie board game section here @gamesandstuffmd.bsky.social I love all the passion and hard work that these wonderful designers put into the games we now carry! 🌊 🐚

We need your help! But let me explain why:

Fate of the fellowship is so good. Deff my game of the year! 😁
This thread. Board games could be so much bigger than they are… but deep hobbyists quickly lose perspective on how unusual it is to own dozens (or more) games and how “light” is a meaningless thing when trying to engage the masses.
Woah! The new sonic cards are sweet! Plus a chaos emerald!?!?
Loved the TMNT unmatched preview before the movie! @restorationgames.bsky.social Totally Radical! 🐢 🐢 🐢 🐢 🐀
I created a thread where I share the link to the zine I made on bgg for the new codenames. Surely there will be transphobes who come to attack me for it—so please help support me on there! boardgamegeek.com/thread/35536...

If you go to one of these Fathom Events screenings and you're a board game fan... make sure to be there for the adverts at the beginning. Our team had a lot of fun making game commercials to air at these. 🤩
