3. (contd) with skateboarder coming towards me. Driver 3 behind me decided to overtake me, forcing the skateboarder to jump out of the way, then blew through Harvard 4-way without stopping, while I was stopped there! Skateboarder chased after driver to no avail. All that in less than 10 minutes! 3/4
Driver 2 overtook me at intersection of Pepperell & Vernon as I came to a stop for a pedestrian to cross. I caught up with the driver at the Quinpool lights, after the pedestrian had safely crossed π€·ββοΈ Driver 3 was the worst. Riding along Allen towards the diverter, passing 2 parked cars... 2/4
Yesterday's afternoon #BikeHFX commute was a doozy π€―: Driver 1 tried to squeeze into the University Ave bike lane from Robie before realising I was about to enter it. I was so shocked I didn't capture it on camera. He was trying to bypass the fire trucks attending a call there. There's more 1/4

Hopefully all the many working today had a moment to celebrate something
Today is a chance to celebrate everything that makes our community unique, and the people who make it such a wonderful place to live.
I worked for New Yorkβs largest medical center at the start of the pandemic. There were morgue trucks on the streets. They set up emergency medical tents in Central Park. Healthcare worker colleagues died. It is horrific that RFK Jr is on national TV lying that ICUs were empty.
@bluejays.com Why does the Jays Care Foundation report less than $20 million per year for the 50:50 draw when their share approachs $1 million per game?

By the end of the week every beach on the islandβs south shore was closed to swimmers... A modern offshore blade is fiberglass over a foam core & bonded with adhesive - same as a boat hull When a turbine blade breaks it comes apart into fragments with sharp edges www.ecoportal.net/en/turbine-b...
One turbine blade broke off 15 miles from Nantucket and closed every south shore beach, and inspectors then found the same bonding flaw in 66 of the 72 blades already standing
Fifteen miles out to sea, a single blade had come off a turbine andΒ fallen apart.
