Jay Crawford just theorized what I've been saying since last season. When Steven Vogt was interviewing for the Gurdians job, the front office told him that they -- the FO -- would be setting the lineup card every game. Hence the most platooning in Major League Baseball.
Shedeur Sanders ranked #35 out of 35 quarterbacks according to Mike Sando's QB List based on polling front office execs and coaches. Where did this narrative that Shedeur doesn't study the playbook come from? I hear it a lot but I've never seen anyone attach their name to it.

Practice ends with a beautiful TD throw from Shedeur Sanders to Gage Larvadain. Sanders noticed he had man-to-man, brought the TE in for mass protection and then knew exactly where he wanted to go with the ball.
I just listened to Andrew Berry address Joe Royer's absence. Sounds like a substance abuse issue or a legal matter. All Berry would say is that it is a "personal matter" that's bigger than football, and that he's "focused on resolving the matter".
