Missouri voters reject Amendment 4. The Republican-backed measure, designed to make it far harder for citizen initiatives (like abortion rights, marijuana, etc.) to pass by requiring majorities in all 8 congressional districts, has failed. Simple statewide majority rule stays.
This apparently happened underneath (and maybe because of of) a sign she had hung on her house that said: "National Guard Stop Being So Embarrassing."

Among the worst ideas floating around is that "the free market" will naturally achieve desirable results for society. No, it won't, not even in theory, much less in practice. Markets don't optimize "good for society" unless you make them.
