When I was in NYC I had an appointment on Park Ave and on the way there I saw two high school girls in uniform dancing for a TikTok *in the median* and then on the way back I saw a woman in I think a “Japanese maid” outfit dancing for a TikTok in front of JPMorganChase.

They’re just damn heavy and also I have to take them to one very specific place for a refill but in that brief, shining moment when J Tillman was still with Fleet Foxes and Death Cab were not greying at the temples those growlers were a sign of my generational coolness.

It’s currently 2pm on Wednesday and I’m drinking a latte in SFO. Which isn’t weird except that I’ve already drank a flat white, at 2pm, on Wednesday, in a cafe in Auckland.
