I used to run with the wolves. Recovering texan, New Mexican by choice. Belly dancer for biodiversity. Secular animist. Forest stan. Reader. Known by a dozen dozen other names. If we don't cool the planet, nothing else matters much.
I would rather have pronghorn antelope and bighorn sheep and elk and purple sage and four wing saltbrush than data centers and so far no one in tech has presented a compelling vision for how to have all of those things, they just seize more resources for the plagiarism engine.
Dozens of gas-burning power plants are being built across the country, solely to power data centers. These plants could emit as much planet-warming pollution as half of all passenger vehicles in the entire country in a single YEAR. We need a data center moratorium — now.
Amazing what happens whem we let Mother Nature do her thing. Native Americans know. Pagans know. People who notice know.
