To anyone from outside Michigan it looks pretty obvious that Haley Stevens needs to fuck right off. I voted for Jasmine Crocket not Talarico in the Texas primaries, but goddam, I am going to support him against the freaking Republicans in the statewide election. Keep your eyes on the prize people.

This is terrifying. The war in Iran is an abomination. Meanwhile ICE is a military force occupying American soil. This vote is the most important of our lives.

This is nightmare fuel. We have war crimes and mass civilian casualties thanks to AI. Also of note, the Iran War has been a humiliating defeat (as it should be) for the US which has historically dominated military conflicts. So aside from being barbaric, AI in warfare is a losing strategy.

When you’re applying for the job of U.S. Senator, you should show up for the job interview. Ken Paxton showed up in London on the 4th of July to party with the British. He showed up in Dubai to party with fugitives. He’ll show up anywhere but a debate stage in Texas.

It’s theoretically possible for consciousness to a rise from silicon based computer hardware, but LLMs are not conscious. Sentient computers are possible, but we aren’t there yet. We should ask ourselves if we really want to go there.
