It's common sense to allow Philadelphians to build generational wealth and age in place by adding bonus units (ADUs). This is one way we can prevent displacement and create affordable housing in one go. share.inquirer.com/geX7Mb

Teams been working on an abstraction layer for data imports/exports, so I tested it out with @sifa.id. At the moment it’s import only. If you give it a try, let me know! (Accessible via account settings page.)

for me impeachment isn't what we should be after. this president and most of his cabinet and staff should be prosecuted for corruption, fraud, war crimes, obstruction, and all the various crimes they have committed. i will only vote for a presidential candidate in 2028 who commits to this.
Here's the CEO of @thefireorg.bsky.social being extremely transphobic. Which side is the one criminalizing care and research? Which side is the one defunding all research? Which side is purging dissent? It ain't trans people. These people were asked not to be transphobic and they lost their minds.
Part of this feels like it’s because a lot of atproto dev discourse leans “all or nothing”. Apps are either completely native or don’t exist at all. There needs to be an incentive for 3rd party apps with existing users to integrate, rn the cost of entry is high
I tend to get dogpiled every time I say this but: as someone *who likes bluesky and benefits from being here* we have a problem. The network is shrinking, not growing. It's shrinking a lot: only about 1.1m people a day even like a post. This time last year it was 1.6m.

question for all #atproto devs! we’ve been testing some features around ingesting job listings and matching them to users and had the thought: what if there were a job listing lexicon that we could all share? Thought being we use the public sphere to share job openings
Finally done. I was able to talk with @pfrazee.com, as well as a handful of other folks with insight on the situation. #atmosphereconf trezy.com/blog/the-mar...
The Marshmallow Test - Bluesky signals it's willing to eat its young
At AtmosphereConf, Bluesky celebrated its community, then signaled it's willing to eat them alive. No context. No acknowledgment. I was in the room.

The news has moved on, but ICE is still in Minneapolis. My neighbors are still patrolling streets, driving strangers to work, and providing aid. As a photojournalist at @propublica.org, I wanted to know: What do they look like in their daily lives? So I picked up my camera 👇

I have produced quite a few paintings and drawings of Green Street in Cambridge over the years. Here's a watercolour and ink sketch showing the western end as it goes into Trinity Street. Not sure if I still have this one. #Cambridge #watercolour #streetscene
