🎃 Hey Kiddos! Thank you again for being part of Babyfur Con’s Peek-a-BOO! Festival! 1,016 attendees joined us for a weekend full of friendship, creativity, a little chaos, and plenty of memories. Here’s a peek back at what happened! 👻🧵

Colorful Peek-a-BOO! Festival promotional artwork with the event logo centered among several illustrated BFC Mascot characters in playful Halloween and autumn-themed outfits. Characters include a wizard, firefighter holding a plush dog, cowboy riding a hobby horse, and others gathered around the large orange and purple festival logo.

‼️⚠️EMERGENCY ‼️⚠️ My landlord has decided that he wants to either grossly increase the rent or file for an eviction because one of my partners and his partner (we're open poly) live here with me. I have maybe 60 days to find a way to relocate. I am frustrated and terrified.

So tired of finally getting back in the mood to RP with people to only be ghosted or only contacted when someone wants to fap. It's why I went so long refusing to do it and I opened the door once more only to have that happen again.

Overall I am happy I went to BFC. I got to be myself in public, which is so liberating. I need to have a friend group that I can be with next year. Small tall with folks helped a lot, but never replaces people who want to be with you. Those alone times were rough, but still very glad to have gone.

Day 3, got some rest which was good. Up a little early because of the time shift, but that's okay. I'm feeling stable this morning. Just rough being at a fun and exciting con and not having friends to share in the experience with. I think today I won't be dressed down as much, not feeling it today.

I'm sorry for almost always being negative here. I'm just very lonely, never been a part of a friend group, can't recall the last time I was ever asked to hang out. I know something is wrong with me, I just don't know what. I just want friends that I can have fun times with and enjoy company.

Day 2 of BFC. Trying to keep myself busy and occupied. It's rough since I'm by myself, have talked to a few here and there but I'm not part of any click so lots of alone time. Got a few panels to look forward to at least.

Tonight is a rough night for me. And every day just seems to be a reminder that I'm not meant to be happy or have any success. Just trying to keep the thoughts at bay because I'm not going to make my mother cry, I won't do that to her.

A lot of people assume FA is profitable. If that were the case we wouldn't have needed a GFM when Neer passed to keep it out of probate. It's been two years. The funds were used. FA is struggling financially. And I am 🌟s t r e s s e d🌟 I'm scared to ask for help, I feel like no matter how much-

Dolly Parton was the best of us. A true legend A singular talent A selfless philanthropist A defender of diversity A champion of education A beacon of love A beautiful saint She’s singing with the angels now. Rest in power, Queen of Country.

Dolly Parton preached kindness and acceptance. She worked hard to make people's lives better. She used her fame and status to help others. Now look at how her life is being celebrated. Look at the boundless love. This is the way. More people should figure that out.

The Library is devastated to learn of the passing of Dolly Parton, a music legend and titan of children's literacy. Her Imagination Library program has earned multiple Library Literacy Awards and, in 2018, she visited us to donate its 100 millionth book to our collection and host a story time. 🦋❤️

I dunno, does anything really matter at this point? Kind of just going through the motions, nothing ever gets better and it's just the same constant feelings of failure, loneliness and self hatred. Whatever, going to bed just so I don't feel anything for a few hours.

What a waste of the day. My sister is insistent on every holiday not to meet up until 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Not how things were when we were kids. Parents have dogs and 45 min drive each way so they can never stay long either. Just so damn depressing as it's the only time we're together.
