Your labor as an artist matters and you should be compensated fairly. Yes, I’m aware that publishers aren’t endless money machines, but there is great pay disparity between creators and if we want a more sustainable an equitable comics business, that has to change.

I drew the main characters of my story on a tiny piece of paper. K got Mike wazowski’d cos they’re too tall

I am drawing more and writing more and I hope I can keep them longer this time

Goal for this year is to draw on a piece of paper larger than 8x8 for once (I keep defaulting to 3x5 because??? Idk???) I have larger paper I’m just afraid of it for some reason Maybe because it will force me to confront my nemesis

Sitting here thinking about how fairytales follow patterns and feature a lot of repetition and I wonder if it is because it makes things easier to remember if the plot is basically the same action 3 times but with copper, silver, and then gold before something different happens and then cue moral

My other big obsession right now is like… the little modular blindbox bjd and mjd dolls. We have touched on this before With my depression flaring up the closer I get to dad’s memorial, I retreat more into my hyperfixations to self soothe Thank u for patience, friends. I am having a very bad time
