Much of the electorate is fed a steady diet of D=communist, etc., which is rarely countered by their social connections. And they refuse to believe accurate reporting on GOP positions. So because a ballot issue focuses on a policy, voters decide what policy they want.

Makes me incredibly happy to see this, and it’s a wake-up call for me. Gotta be more involved next time. If a few hundred people in my position had gotten their ass out there the result could’ve flipped. 2020 fucked me up, but that’s not an excuse, time to get back out there.

Seems like an upset might be brewing in the GOP primary in #MI08 to take on Dem Rep. Kristen McDonald Rivet. Trump endorsed Amir Hassan, but he currently trails an absolute nobody who suspended his campaign a month ago by a wide margin.

I haven’t been involved in outreach politics since 2020, not gonna claim even anecdotal experience here, but I’m pretty fucking sure data centers are political poison even in red counties after seeing these results and what’s happened recently in Festus and Emporia.

Two more GOP amendments go down to crushing defeats, both in MO. #4 would have made future ballot initiatives impossible to pass by requiring winning a majority statewide *and* in each congressional district. #5 would have eliminated the state income tax.

Didn’t expect Hartzell or Cory to win but still bummed for them, I am thrilled to see Missouri continue to vote like a blue state when it comes to ballot measures though lol

Another update: less than 24 hours after the nationwide power grid collapsed, it has collapsed again before it could even recover. My situation is becoming very difficult, and I have no idea when I'll have electricity again. Even Cuban news aren't reporting this since nobody has access to internet.

My boss got rich off crypto. He invested his life savings in Bitcoin in 2018, I would’ve assumed that was too late to really hit it huge but he got about a 20x return on it and sold the majority of his stake near the top of the market. He is now squandering that money on a gambling addiction.

Don’t wanna think about work so instead reminiscing on a nice weekend filled with golf and games. Shot a 92, my best effort yet. Would’ve broken 90 if not for an inexplicably horrible first couple holes, couldn’t make contact for some reason. Getting old I guess, need to show up early and warm up

May be wrong here, but my sense is there is a whole media apparatus that aggressively screens Dem candidates and cautions voters not to support the more left-wing candidate. And this is asymmetric. Credible media messengers don't police right-wing candidates the same way.

One day left to leave a comment. Even if you disapprove of firearm ownership this rule is likely being used to set a legal battle that may strip blue states of the ability to change gender markers on IDs and other documents.
