“And that ardent love, that extreme devotion, that is not a coincidence. That comes as a result of knowing that not only are you seeing a narrative, but it sees you back.” Love this piece on #IWTV by @rotemrusak.bsky.social nerdist.com/article/inte...

INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE's Overwhelming Queerness Is Revelatory & Queer People Deserve It

Queer people deserve the queerness of Interview with the Vampire. Its commitment to everyone being queer lets queer people see themselves.

I’m in that slippery place with IWTV where all the fic has arrived at a consensus and we’re all FEELING the vision of what comes next, but does production feel that? 🤣 Usually this is where it all goes wrong in canon, but WHO KNOWS!!! I’m trying to leap in faith!

In some other part of my existence, people were morally outraged by bringing freebie stickers to give out to other fans during a cocktail hour claiming it was putting the show’s revenue at risk? 😂 Will humanity never cease.

This is said with no emotional sentiment at all, but it's so funny to me when people create such strong narratives of what an interview must have been like and how I clearly didn't ask after X, Y, and Z, when in fact, I literally did and what's presented is the answer 😂

Pencil sketch of Adar very smiley holding an award. "Best Original Character TROPY" is written next to it.

Wrote a little something for the incredible #TROPBloodMoon challenge by the fabulous @macchiavato.bsky.social. Prompt: Red---https://archiveofourown.org/works/63873388 As Adar is dying, Sauron meets him in his mind.

The First Time and the Last 9_of_Clubs Summary: Before him, Sauron’s hair gleams scarlet, and his smile is sharp. He is as he was in the clearing. He is as he was in Forodwaith. He is as he was in the barn. He is as he was on the mountaintop when the fierceness of his light blinded Adar at the first. Sauron is all shapes and none, and Adar would know his form, the particular pull of it, that heady, disarming tug, were all his senses robbed from his body. --- Or, as Adar is dying, Sauron meets him in his mind. Or, in Adar’s last moments, Sauron. For the #TROPBloodMoon Challenge prompt: Red.
