Hot take : If your format is warped by 1 card and no one has the control to ban it cause the format is piggy backing another one... The problem is not the card, but the format. Also Meta will adjust and there's gonna be tech to prevent or circumvent split second.
my plans for F2F ottawa (the next RC) have fallen through, I dont have anywhere to stay for oct 2-4 and I cant exactly afford a hotel room on my own. if anyone has something or knows someone with something willing to help me please let me know
I have a question about card collection management. What would you do if you realize that you will not play a specific archetype? The realization comes from the fact that I'm sorting, trimming and cleaning a bit of the collection and I wonder if I just... Sell those cards away?
New acquisition from the Command Fest Toronto a couple weeks ago! So happy about it 🥰🥰
I did the final cut! This will be my first iteration of the cube! Now I need to get the cards. Thankfully I've started in playing in Darksteel and kept my old cards! cubecobra.com/cube/list/c2...
Cube Cobra List: Mirrodin Plane Cube
The idea of this cube is to represent what Mirrodin was before the oil infecting the plane. I want to recreate simpler time, free from the oil and phyrexia. A time when Leonins, Vedalkens, Zombies, Go...

Random thoughts : I love tacos, mexican food, indian food and many other kinds of food. But for the love of god(s), can you all stop putting cilantro on everything!!!! Half the population hates it! Especially in restaurants!!!!! Why!
On my way back from Toronto, I started working on a Mirrodin Cube! It got me so excited 😍 I don't want Phyrexia stuff. Only the original design of the plane (... With some cards that are foreshadowing the events) Can't wait to see how it will result!
Anyone going to Command Fest Toronto this weekend??? 👀 Can't wait to finish work today and leave, haha
the radical left wants you to have a home, food, healthcare, and a stable future the radical right wants you to think i'm a monster for saying that and is actively engaged in a genocide against myself and my trans siblings if you equivocate the two, you're siding with the latter
Soooooo Been reducing my antidepressants in the last few months! (I'm at half what it was) It's going well, but the amount of feelings is really hitting me in the last few weeks. I also never been on HRT alone, without the meds. The feelings are definitely hitting harder than ever, haha
Good news, I went from 150 mg to 75 mg for my antidepressant. Slowly, 25 mg per month. Tho I might stay a bit on 75.. tonight is a bit rough. Tho I just (last week) made the changed from 100 to 75. So clearly I need to adjust. Still Moving towards no antidepressant, slowly but surely
Someone is thinking about going to the CommandFest Toronto on 21-23 August?
*Big sighs* *To note, this is only for EDH The proxy discussion is back in my regular LGS. While I understand why some people are opposed to proxy and why the LGS needs a policy about it, I feel like it's just a shit show.
The Marvel set should have been Scourge 2.0 (creature only set). Not like many cards would be cut for that to happen anyway 🙄 And since 2026, make them all legendary. Not like this would be different either xD
Wait... Is the reason I want to die is just cause I don't want to endure the passage of time?
Going back to my old music library and finding back amazing albums I basically know by heart but forgot it existed!!! Right now, listening to Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos What a powerful album 💜

People will celebrate androgynous and have gender envie for those who can pull it off ... When in fact, it's just being skinny and internalised fatphobia ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Okay, I need podcast suggestions. I would be interested for in-depth deck tech, strategies or concept exploration. The thought process of "what's good or not", card evaluation, deck evaluation, every power level consideration, etc I don't want anything about the discourse, the new sets, etc.
You're building a new commander deck. One card would be perfect in it. That card is also a staple in that color pairing and a bit boring to play. Do you still include the card or not??
Sorin + Hidetsugu's Second Rite : kill 1 player. Land Tax + Scroll Rack : mono white draw! Those are Classic old school commander tech. What's your favorite old tech you use(d)? 👀
WOTC, a small, independent, family company. Right? Anyway, doing Errata in 2 cards before releasing the set. Not like they also did that in EOE and a couple other times before. Maybe they should work on those sets more carefully and do less sets... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ just a thought.
*Finishes a workout session and compares with what I was able to do before HRT* ... Testosterone sure was useful for that :')
I know I'm "gay" (read as queer), but why am I getting targeted for PreP ads :') I'm not a gay guy!
