as much as it's good to have some sort of online presence and portfolio going on, the moment I got hired as a full-time artists social media immediately lost all the appeal... It's such a bothersome thing to keep track of

hating your art is not a virtue, it's a sign of burn out or mental illness. the same way your muscles ache if you exercise too much or your stomach hurts if you're starving. learn to identify it as a sign you're pushing too hard or expecting too much of yourself somehow and check in with yourself.
