A very decent performance from Cymru against a full strength Portugal - particularly 2nd half - considering the missing players and the only 5 of the starting 11 are regular starters for their clubs. Koumas was a standout and Da Silva was very good. Ben Davies rusty of course but a rock. #cymru
Lots of talk of growth ahead of the Budget, as if it were a baroque puzzle. Our problem is basic. It's that we no longer support the things which facilitate growth: Europe, immigration, higher education, tax simplification, policy stability. These are all choices and could stop making them anytime.
I did some sums the other day. Daniel Farke has spent around £240m on new players since he arrived at Leeds in the summer of 2023. But we've also recouped about £205m in player sales over the same period. So a net spend of around £35m. And we're currently 5th in the PL. Not bad going. #lufc
A nothing game - 2 teams cancelling each other out. Murhamovic outstanding - Amps excellent as usual and Tanaka and Okafor were good when they were on. But overall we were sloppy and lacked intensity. This is our next step, to find ways to win games like this. #lufc

As a very basic thing, we as citizens should not accept the presence of a private army of masked racist thugs on the streets of our towns... intimidating others and threatening to overthrow the state... There are some fairly obvious precedents for this stuff.
