I really recommend everyone get a hobby that requires them to leave the house and talk to real people, because a lot of people on this website need to log off. Join a book club. Join a choir. Do ceramics. Join a run club. Take up pickleball. Join an indivisible group. Just get off the internet.

Trump is historically unpopular, launching an illegal war no one wants, doing everything he can to increase prices, and breaking records for corruption. Any Democrat running for office who embraces transphobic talking points is acting like a loser in a defensive crouch. Nobody likes losers.
Last night I got to perform onstage to a sold out crowd at YouTube Theater behind Mexican pop stars and drag queens and it was amazing. Five hours of waiting for a minute long performance and I've never been more exhilarated.
Saw a post yesterday saying that we put up with Dems refusing to protect abortion rights for years so we could be rewarded with them refusing to protect trans rights and I cannot stop thinking about it.
"This election is about the threat of trans kids" is the worst possible messaging for Dems yet so many candidates are leaning into it. No voter will flip R->D over it. Low-info voters read this as "you're focused on bullshit that doesn't affect me" while the base reads this as "you're an asshole."

Yes, flipping the Senate is essential and can stop bad laws and bad judges from happening, but she can do it without my support from the lower 48.
Very important 🧵!!!! And exceedingly on the nose given the last two Democratic administrations did not do much to unwind the disastrous results of the Republican presidents that preceded them.

Re This case: Most media are focusing on their own states, but this was a multi-state trip. The person took the whole route of the Southwest Chief, so Illinois through the midwest, then across S. Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona before LA. Then up the coast, and back across on California Zephyr.

Truly. The cheap gas station by my office is now $6/gal. Six months ago it was like $4.19/gal. (I live in LA; cheap is relative when it comes to gas)

I am concerned that democrats are going to ride into the majority because people are (rightfully) furious about the increase in gas prices and ignore the absolutely dire threats to democracy trump and the republicans represent. They need to fucking clean house and undo EVERYTHING.

Toxicologist here. If you have a working liver and kidneys then you are already “detoxing.” Supplement use is one of the leading causes of liver and kidney failure. The only thing you’re getting rid of when you fall for these predatory wellness grifts is your money.
