I get tired of saying it, but I’ll say it again: the nature of oppression in America is that they workshop it first on Black, Latino, Asian & Native people. But it is always, in the end, coming for everyone.

The arrests of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are a test for every MSM member with a platform. If you are not voicing your outrage at this blatant violation of the First Amendment, you are utterly discredited as a journalist.

Just so we're clear, and so a tiny handful of wankers online don't create the wrong impression, the vast majority of your European friends are incredibly impressed by Minnesotans' courage against both the ice and ICE.

Like hundreds of other people, I was targeted by Charlie Kirk's "Professor Watchlist" project and spuriously accused of being a "Terror Supporter" and an "Antisemite". The legacy of Charlie Kirk is bigotry, classroom surveillance and anti-intellectual harassment.

This is the situation that my label Balmat is in right now: Even if records *are* exempt, as Bandcamp/Discogs claim, the Spanish postal service has halted all commercial shipments to the U.S., so we literally cannot send packages to U.S. buyers at this point, even those that WOULD pay tariffs.

"The real kick in the teeth is no matter how much manufacturing is brought back to the US these items will never be made in the USA. There is no upside." As we predicted, the end of de minimis has made every hobby that requires the purchase of items more expensive. 🔗 www.404media.co/its-just-a-m...

The kids understand that software as a service and the major power players seeking a “frictionless” tech has robbed them of so many subcultural experiences both irl and url that they now have to work twice as hard to find, but I’m glad they’re at least seeking it out. We hit the peak in 2008.

One of my highlight this year so far was to play this unannounced / free/ mid-week dubstep party in London last June. Invited by talented Beatrice.M (BAIT). It was my first time playing an only dubstep set, so I was a bit nervous and playing on ancient cdjs was not helping.
