Booked Up is BACK! Thanks to support from the Dun Laoghaire Arts Office, I’m beyond delighted to say Booked Up: Futures for Young Readers will be back from September 2026 to June 2027. The series aims to introduce teenagers to the opportunities available in the Irish literature sector.

I've gotten four creepy marketing scam emails about my book in a day and all I can think of is how my words have been diluted by the weirdos who put them into ai to do make these scams. It feels gross to have the way I think and write stolen and regurgitated via word salad at me

After my shift in Dublin I commuted home. What would be a 25 min car journey took 1 hour and 40 mins on the bus. 4 times as long. Genuinely asking, how is this our normal? The Irish public transport system is such a complete and utter failure. I can't cope with it anymore.
