I will never understand why they replaced community submitted subtitles for this nonsense Real human people were happy and willing to make subtitles in a variety of languages for free, and the creator had full control of what submissions were used And they GOT RID OF IT

It finally happened. I finally ran into a Youtube video with that awful auto-dubbing feature turned on. The video is an interview and it's... not even watchable now. Like the auto-dubbing is just saying random nonsensical words. 😭 Why did they ever think this was a good feature to implement?

by the way, I really encourage newcomers to comment on art and posts! Even though numbers are lower, posts here have a much higher comment/like ratio than they did on twitter 📈 the engagement may seem smaller, but it's a lot more genuine! 💖

Artists are a big part of what makes your social media experience worth it. Most of them post incredible work out there for free (in this economy ??) Remember to support your favorite creators so that they can keep making things you love. Seek out their patreon, shops, share their work.
