Jubilee has always been my second-favorite X-Men character after Rogue, and Rogue is probably only my favorite because of the white streak in her hair and her accent if I'm being real

NEW VIDEO ALERT! Today on Bar Cart Bookshelf we're talking about A TASTE OF HONEY by Kai Ashante Wilson. An achingly tender story of love and duty, the end made all the hair on my arms stand up. Queer, lovely, immensely powerful. This is a truly VITAL novella. Our drink is Olorum.

A paperback of Kai Ashante Wilson's A TASTE OF HONEY in front of summer hydrangeas. The book is flanked by a statuette of big cat (ambiguously read as a leopard or cheetah) and a highball with a pale yellow drink.

You can build your entire personality around not liking racing games that require shifting, I guess. That would be really weird, but you can. I'm not reading all that though.

People are so weird about video game mechanics they don't like. And I don't mean stuff like gambling or exploitative systems, of course you should criticize that! I generally don't care for 3D platformers built around collecting, so I just don't play them. It's very, very easy.

i don't mean this pejoratively to anyone's who's upset at shiftup for this but how is anyone, like, surprised that they're promoting stellar blade 2 with AI slop? not everyone knows the company's founder has been crazy AI-pilled for a while, but that game has always looked like 'that' to me idk

Yesterday I finished "Son of the Storm" by @suyidavies.com which I loved and I'm excited to come back around to Warrior of the Wind, but today I finished up Will Wight's "Unsouled", the first book of the Cradle series, and I enjoyed it! Very fun, plays some amusing power scaling stuff very straight

I did some pruning and my hands smell of cut wild roses and tomato plants it's a beautiful, savory smell The living of life, the taking in of senses and experiences is a thing I've been too careless about, taken too much for granted No wonder I haven't felt like I can write anymore

My understanding is that if the Sparks don’t move Plum by tomorrow, it would be because their asking price is super high and teams are balking at that for an expiring contract they could sign in the offseason, even if she could help now.
