okay time to do my seasonal #Steamnextfest dive where I try out demos (except deck builders, 1st POV games, shooters, rhythm games, precision platformers...) with no AI use (a really hard sidequest) I still have to go through RPGs, puzzle games and VNs but got a nice 48 demos already installed
i'm doing my regular dive into #nextfest came across an AI slop game about scantly clad ladies playing tennis without boob physics what's the point if there are no bouncing titties? genAI has desecrated a lot of things but you'd think the sanctitty of some things would remain unscathed
one of my "favorite" examples of this last NextFest was a game where the Back button, in Spanish, was espalda. Which does mean back - as in the body part
Chris Franklin@errant-signal.com · 2mo agoOne of my favorite kind of Next Fest games are the ones that clearly are using AI, have no AI disclosures, but think it's at all reasonable to assume they have paid to translate their game into every language under the sun.

It's "San Valentín" in Spanish so it sounds very similar to "Sam va lentín" (Sam walks slowly). Even Sean Astin noticed us so it's special to us! ❤️
