i've played (and even written about) a lot of hacking games down the years and i tell you what, i really appreciate when a hacking game doesn't just look like a bunch of regular computer terminals and three fake IM messengers

fucking losing count of the number of times i have turned off AI Shit in Jira, only to get a new update that there's a new setting they've added that is automatically set to "on" again

jfc lol. @nwslsoccer.com killed their Victory+ streaming agreement like yesterday, their app only runs on like 3 things total, the custom video player they run on other devices doesnt support airplay, and if you try to manually airplay it, they detect it and cut the video from the feed ??

postscript to #868BACKHEIST: I wound up having my personal best game. for a taste of how deep the game goes, here's some late game stuff where things get wacky (second one is kinda spoilery but you won't understand it until it happens)

let's talk 868-BACK, a great game! First let's do some basics, with the demo. Which is pretty much a playthrough of one dungeon, but they're not called "dungeons." I'll be getting into spoilers so mute #868BACKHEIST if you don't want to see this. store.steampowered.com/app/3304110/...

Such a lovely game. I've been listening to the soundtrack obsessively for 6 years (it's fantastic), but for some arcane reason I convinced myself that the game was not for me. Today I repaired that, and I have to say, it's an absolutely delightful experience. Try Wilmot's Warehouse if you can!
