[REPOST FROM 2022] One of my geckos, Scooter, during the feeding time, she decided to randomly jump off of her tank about 5 ft high like it's a jailbreak. That scared me so much! She's okay, she only licked her eye and walked off like nothing happened... That girl never stop scaring me.

Fuck ICE.

Hi! I've been quiet about these drawings for several months. With everything that has happened since then, from what I've witnessed in my local communities and beyond to the very personal impact on people I love, I no longer feel comfortable keeping them to myself. You need to know about what's going on in this country.

Sharing these pieces feels more important now than ever. Through my art, I want to contribute a small piece of Deaf and ASL representation while expressing the emotions I've been carrying: anger, grief, frustration, and deep solidarity with those affected by ICE's inhumane and senseless actions.

The hot pink piece was placed in front of an ICE facility, and it's still there to this day. To me, that's a reminder of how powerful a visual voice can be. I am honored to have that as my very first street art.

And not only that, the square wooden platform was spraypainted by me for the first time and I mixed it up with markers. I've gained so much new art experience from that short time, and that's something a community support will give me in the way ICE could never give to just anyone, not even to their own families.

Art has always been one of the ways I process what I see and what I feel. These pieces are my way of speaking out, standing with my community, and making it clear where I stand.

I haven't animated someone signing their name in a while. I tried new techniques to make it special. This is dedicated to Heather, an amazing ASL interpreter who helped me connect to the hearing world during art school. I wanted to make this for her 50th birthday. Thank you, Heather!

Why do I need to pay anything when I had zero balance?
As a result, my account was marked with a "fraud and deception" restriction. My reach dropped, my comments were getting filtered as spam, and fewer people were seeing my artwork.
The most interesting part was that this didn't take effect until June 21, 2026, several days after I criticized a disinformation-spreading "journalist" through DMs privately, which then followed with me being called out publicly, and I then experienced mass-scale harassment from the MAGA community. Fortunately, it was extremely short-lived, and I am not in any immediate danger. I can't prove these two situations are connected, but the timing is coincidental, perhaps triggered by mass reporting.
I went in circles with Meta AI. It couldn't lift the restriction, and I couldn't "pay" the balance because there was nothing to pay. There were also no live agents available when they offered it. I finally took it upon myself to troubleshoot by adding my payment information and put $2.00 into prepaid funding.
Within minutes of adding the funds, the restriction disappeared and my account status returned to normal. I then deleted the inactive ad campaign and removed my payment information.
All this was put up as a silent paywall with a $0 balance that I had no idea about for years, suddenly triggered after some menial online drama. Through all of these years, it was just last month that this happened. No notification, no email. No phone call.
I'd insult Meta, but frankly, they do it to themselves. This is pathetic. A piss-poor auto-moderation system that led to censorship without effective communication. To the Meta team, I'd tell you to do better, but you'll just feed that to your AI, so let me make this loud and clear: go fuck yourselves, 🖕."
