El-Sayed: "If all Mike Rogers got is that 'his name is Abdul, and my name is Mike,' you're gonna be surprised how many people are like, 'Yeah, but that's the Abdul who wants to bring down the price of my groceries and make sure I got healthcare. So yeah, I like Abdul over your Mike from Florida.'"
El-Sayed on Islamophobia: "That's the only play they got. They're gonna point at me, they're gonna point at my name, like, 'Wow, he's different.' That's the best you got? You can't actually talk about what you want to do? My name is not raising your gas prices. My name is now taking us to war."
El-Sayed: "Mike, I'm gonna say it right now, I know you're gonna say no because you're a coward: Five debates, alright? ... By the time we're done, you are not gonna have safe quarter from people holding you accountable to what you've done for them here in Michigan. We will send you back to Florida"
El-Sayed: "My commitment to Jewish safety is the same commitment that I have to the safety of my own daughters. Because if there is one question of political philosophy that ought to animate us all, it's what would we do if we treated all our kids like they were all of our kids?"
El-Sayed: "They think they want to use my whole name against me. Mike, listen man, If you can't say the name -- it's Abdulrahman -- keep the name out your damn mouth."
El-Sayed: "They spent an unprecedented amount of money to beat us -- attack ad after attack ad after attack ad after attack ad, wall to wall ads. But it turns out that the commercials are the part of the television show most people don't want to watch."
Democrats are consolidating as predicted. Excellent. Whitmer, Stevens, McMorrow and even Schumer rally behind Abdul El Sayed. He can and will beat Rogers who is weak and tied to an unpopular Trump and GOP. All gas.
