I'll be publishing a short video today. It's not anything special. It's asking if you've ever seen your boss 'slip their mask'. By this I mean where they show a genuine superiority on a human level to the regular employees. They try to bask in a 'management' class if you will. Hurtful to experience.

For reference, the term I use to refer to games like REPO or Lethal Company is "social co-op," because the focus is to facilitate social interaction. I'm not saying that's the term for everyone to use, but most people understand what I mean when I say "social (co-op) game."

Friendslop is a horrid name and it has the same energy as gatekeeping BS like "game for casuals" from the 2010s and "walking sim" for narrative/exploration games. It's shit that 4chan doesn't like so they call it stinky names to try to push the idea that a category of games is "objectively" bad.

Rockstar Games UK Formed a Workplace Union. I hope this can end the crunch of 60... even 70+ hour workweeks and employees being forced to sleep in their offices. The workers deserve better!
