After about 3 minutes of scrolling the latest Trump atrocities on here, I am ready to move on to something more pleasant, like where the dismembered body will be discovered in the latest true crime podcast.
All the legal pundits on here are ridiculous. You keep trying to apply the rules of what America was, to what America currently is. None of that matters in a lawless nation. Our legal system will let you RAPE CHILDREN if you have enough money and power. If that hasn't opened your eyes, nothing will.

This is an example of why I say "American exceptionalism is a lie perpetrated by our government to keep us from demanding better of it." Many people believe America has the greatest healthcare system in the world, while in reality, GoFundMe has become the default way to try to stop financial ruin.

After everything that has happened currently and throughout history; how can people still be surprised when Christians do horrible things?
It will do us no good to get rid of the tyrant if we allow the system itself to remain tyrannical. Trump was born out of a legal system that allows the wealthy to be above the law, while ordinary citizens are incarcerated at a rate that is 4 to 10 times higher than any other developed nation.
Yeah, the last thing America needs is religious zealots controlling the government and telling women what they can and can't do with their own bodies like they are second class citizens.

What do you mean now????? Conservatives have always lied about those values. The only thing that is different about Trump conservatism, is they have dropped the pretense. Trump didn't change anybody, he revealed who they always were.
