Minnesota forever.

Has the word “dubious” shifted meaning In recent years? I always understood it as a quality/veracity of a thing (eg. “the company’s actions were of dubious legality”), but have been hearing it a lot recently as a quality of a person passing judgement (“I am dubious about his talent). Like skeptical

Now that I live in Northern MN I’ve realized how difficult it is to attend from here. Unlike other parts of the state there is no public or chartered transit to get you there, so your cost is 5 hours of driving and at least $100 in gas, parking, & tickets just to get in the gate.

The 2026 Minnesota State Fair’s record-smashing attendance during its first two days had Minnesotans wondering if this year’s crowds might reach historic heights. Total attendance ended up being around 1.9 million attendees, falling short of the pre-pandemic 2019 record of 2.1 million attendees.

When discussing political theory, it’s important to distinguish between someone who supports republicanism (“small r” republican), and someone who supports the Republican Party (“hard r” Republican)

Today I saw a guy driving a red cadillac deville, real butch-looking with a shaved head dark sunglasses, chomping a big cigar. License plate was “Mr SCARY”, and somehow the r was lower case? I assume the devil

ICE is engaged in a very large escalation nationwide, with the agency claiming to be hitting record arrest numbers amid the return of quotas. This has gotten very little attention from the media because ICE learned lessons from the chaotic disasters of Kristi Noem’s tenure. Keep a watch.

ICE is surging in the Seattle area. (Map shows activity in the last week) Do you have your whistle with you?

Talking to an old neighbor with a bird bath, who saw a crow bring dead mice to dunk in the water as it ate them. He observed it every day for a week, and then made sure to tell me that he “asked gpt if this was real.” Bro, you just saw it. It is real.

🧵 Once again, a Hispanic landscaper was also intentionally targeted and shot by the San Diego Islamic Center shooters (he survived). 🧵 Institutionalized Islamophobia makes Muslims more vulnerable (and to many, more “acceptable”) targets, which is heinous and true. HOWEVER: 1/4

These are the 4 things AI can do well: •Clean up your email inbox (badly) •Give my shittiest neighbor (Alan) something to talk about at a party •Tell a 12 yr old to kill himself •Incinerate a school at 10:16 AM on a Tuesday You can see why we need to base our economy around it

"I fear some [council members] are indifferent." Have you paid someone's rent, organized a fundraiser, gone on patrol, found someone an attorney, done someone's laundry, delivered groceries, held a baby of someone sheltering in fear? "If not you may be too far removed to have good judgment."

I think one thing people outside Minnesota don't understand is that after Good and Pretti were killed by feds while observing, the most normal people you could imagine have made peace with the fact that they could be next, and they are still out there because they say it's the right thing to do.

“If I am killed doing this, throw my body at the White House, martyr the shit out of me & raise hell. Do not be sad. Do not think I would do anything differently. I would do it over & over again — this is too important to sit down & shut up and not do anything.” www.mprnews.org/story/2026/0...

Tide might be turning. Keep pushing. Keep calling, donating, protesting, all of it. Don’t stop, especially if Trump starts throwing them overboard. Don’t stop until they’re all gone
