On Thursday, DH and I went shopping on the 127 Yard Sale. We picked up a few things. It was his first time, so I took it easy on him. This morning I went out by myself, intending to shop in the other direction. First stop and I found a bread maker, which is what I was looking for.

Happy birthday to @cruisinsoozan.bsky.social. We met on Twitter in 2010. People think online friendships aren’t real, but we’ve sent the same birthday card back and forth for the last 10 years. We’ve seen each other through thru good times and bad. Here’s to you, Sooz. Love ya. 🥂

I may be crazy, but I’m thinking about going to the Y in the morning, coming home to get a shower, then heading to physical therapy. I’d have just enough time afterwards to see a matinee of The Odyssey. The main problem would be that I’m notorious for sleeping thru fight scenes.

I got the tubular bind off done. I did have to join yarn. I must have messed up the math. Anyway, I’m happy with it, and Cami seems to approve. Still need to do the ribbing on the armholes and neck. #knitsky

I’ll never not think of the movie “Wag the Dog” when someone mentions Albania. “the film centers on a spin doctor and a Hollywood producer who fabricate a war in Albania to distract voters from a presidential sex scandal.” Wikipedia.

To make life easier for the person checking on the cat when we travel, we added an electronic door lock. Now we’re locked in the house. How’s your day going?

I wonder if any other ‘76ers have yearbooks like this. This is the cover and the inside covers of my high school year book in 1976. The Bicentennial was more than a year long celebration.

When the nurse at the doctors office told me that my BP was a little high, I replied that it’s probably because my husband drove me in today. She lol’d and said that I made her day. My appt was at 7:45, so the bar is high for the rest of the patients.

I took a break in my walk to chat with a neighbor and to take a peek at his shade garden. Its lovely. After my third loop around the block, I took a closer look at the shady side of the house. I think it needs some hostas. I also plan to move some fun things to see to that side of the house.

Today’s side quest has been the Linux side of my old Window box. There is a collection of music files (pdf and mp3) and they don’t match what I have in my iCloud. It a wonderful collection of music I thought I’d lost, but this will take days/weeks to sort and combine.
