I saw the Hadestown pro shot this afternoon, absolutely fantastic. Beautifully filmed as well as being a masterpiece of a musical. Never mind the Odyssey, this is the Greek mythology based cinema experience for me.

Maybe I am alone in this but the #StarTrek / #DoctorWho crossover I want would be the he Doctor visiting the set of Trek in production. I think there’s just more space for a meaningful story, maybe about the importance of fantasy. Anyway which Doctor would you see visiting which production?

Watched Strange New Worlds S4 E1 and mostly meh with some very questionable decisions. The real issue for me though is I don’t like most of these characters anymore. After the way they were written last season, particularly the racist bullying of Spock without any attempt to make amends.

I actually think there should be new adaptations of A Christmas Carol. It’s a fantastic story, I do a live reading every year. Love it. But the Depp one just looks miserable. I don’t believe he has the skill to play Scrooge’s reformation and I wouldn’t want to watch that woman-beater if he did.
