Second chances for this guy but not Dominic Grieve. The Tory party is truly wretched. It’s screwed the country, betrayed its own and lost its tiny mind.

Joshua Bonehill-Paine
posted on social media that he was "tremendously proud" that he has been chosen to stand for election to Somerset Coun-cil, in the Crewkerne South ward.
Bonehill-Paine (inset) was jailed in 2016 after he was convicted of racially aggravated harassment.
He wrote several blog posts about the former Labour MP for Liverpool Wavertree, Baroness Luciana Berger, labelling her "an evil money-grabber" with a "deep-rooted hatred of men".
He was previously jailed for producing an ad illustrated with a picture of the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz, which promised "an absolute gas" at a rally in Golders Green, north London.
Badenoch said: "I want to be very clear - and I think people can look at me and know that I'm not a person who would be recruiting neo-Nazis.
"Josh is someone who actually has been certified by the Home Office to train police officers on antisemitism and on countering extremism.
"Yes, he [has] previously convicted but he has shown contrition for his crimes, has been rehabilitated and is spending every day working to solve the very problem which he knew that he had caused previously.

We UK citizens resident in the EU are not facing "systematic failures" experienced by EU citizens in the UK, some of whom are now facing letters from the HO alleging they were wrongly given settled status.

Those of us resident in the EU don't need seeds of uncertainty planted by some random UK resident. Solidarity with EU citizens resident in the UK as ever. Can you imagine it - I could have 180 days when I want, but my EU husband would have to move his residency after 90 days and doctor, where he voted, obligation to sign up to AIRE etc. How can these people be so uninformed, or perhaps they just don't care? The exceptionalism is off the charts.

I have plenty of empathy and sympathy for others and have often expressed it, but not for ALL others especially those demanding preferential treatment and claiming rights to which they are not and never were entitled.

As one who tries to choose his vocabulary with care, I find it difficult that these words should only be used for women. I often use 'flounce', though never for women, but I know any use of 'hysterical' - even when not referring to women - will bring criticism.
