I truly don’t understand people who have the attitude of, “my job sounds worse than yours, so you should get paid less.” Difficulty of labor aside: my dude, if your job sucks so much, you should be getting paid MORE, not telling others to be content with poverty wages

Salgado Araujo’s killing marked the 10th person shot and killed by an ICE agent during Trump’s second term.
To be a historian is to speak ill of the dead and the rest of you should take more history classes and join us.
Mainstream Respectable opinion is that people joking about a bad person's death represents a culture of cruelty, but really it represents a culture of impunity. It's a coping mechanism for watching someone do evil their whole life and never seeing consequences
Also, they simultaneously (claim to) want SAHMs and housewives, but ALSO relentlessly pursue women who have high ambitious drive, for the social capital of it. They want a barefoot mommy AND a SpaceX aeronautics engineer they can brag to their friends about. (Also, she needs to be a supermodel.)

They just want a bang mom to do everything for them.
I’m genuinely surprised Meta rolled back that feature in their AI image generator. They’re normally so committed to automatic opt-in on their entire user base for their terrible ideas!
