The “best” thing about genAI (the quotes are doing heavy work here) is that it’s really lowered the bar on getting into hand-made art. Literally anything you make is better than ai. There’s never been a better time to throw away your fear and start learning that craft you’ve always wanted to learn.
These soft AI-prompters have never known the burn of manually erasing hours and hours of work; the stamina in following contours with eye and pencil; or the rugged toil required for precise cross-hatching They do not have the fortitude yet demand the accolades

'You'll choke too' - an aerial embroidery landscape inspired by all the wildfires happening right now... I'm upset every time I smell smoke outside and somehow we have people starting them maliciously too! But we all breathe the same air so they'll choke too (1/2 - see thread for close-ups)

My body reminded me of my age after I painted sets for six hours yesterday. Ended up needing to take the entire day off to literally do nothing but play Tomodachi Life and nap. I was sore in so many new places! Welp. Painting more sets tomorrow. Wish my bones luck. 😁👍🏼
