I would say it's especially important to be careful with anything that fits neatly with what you already believe, good or bad. There are too many cases of people sharing things without any verifiable source just because they sound "right."
We are a month away from a major US election. Most of the Internet is being botted, sockpuppeted, and astroturfed right now, especially with AI agents out in force. Be highly critical and skeptical of what you see online, at the absolute minimum for the next month.

She seems to respond as though I am describing something a priori impossible.
